Loads of it this week! Blimey, the party politicians current, past and never-were (hello Janet Garland), were in full swing!!! And then there's Martin Dix, who I understand used to post on here as User4549 and used to slag off the old town council regime. He'll make his mind up eventually I suppose!!!!

I'm popping in to buy some flowers on Saturday before work so I'll be sure to mention the picture. Though I'd hope that the 3 hole 'adventure' golf is just an artistic impression. One question however is where would Carnival events be held should this vision ever become a reality?

A lot of people shop on Sundays too! In the middle of similarly sized towns around the country!!! Free weekend parking IN THE CAR PARKS is whats needed, not free parking next the most expensive pavement in Britain. In my opinion.

@Brazilnut . do you get a staff discount at the co-op? i'd hope so given how much advertising you give your employers!!!!! i enjoy strolling around town on a sunday. i enjoy having the choice of being able to pop into 'local' shops to browse and/or buy. i also enjoy getting home from work during the week, and purting my feet up. not all of us are oaps with nothing better to do all day!!! and to ...

Well done to Stokes for taking POSITIVE action. Really hope that it proves to be a success for you and that other traders follow suit. Not everyone is lucky enough to always be able to shop Mon to Sat!!!
