Loads of it this week! Blimey, the party politicians current, past and never-were (hello Janet Garland), were in full swing!!! And then there's Martin Dix, who I understand used to post on here as User4549 and used to slag off the old town council regime. He'll make his mind up eventually I suppose!!!!

My comment re the last council were valid, spending £80.000 for CCTV that is not up to the job was fair, my other complaint was they bought the old salvation army site without any consultation, valuation or having it surveyed.

This councii is being investigated for a number of reasons which will come to light in the near future.

So you can slag people off, but they are not allowed to voice an opinion, what a democratic person you are.

You are one of the reasons I stopped posting here, but could not resist replying to you today to put the record straight

PS: Nelson, To clairify my complaint to those posters who did not see the Letters page in this weeks Gazette there were 5 other letters decrying Phil Bagshaws attack on Becky Willboughby, bearing in mind he is the Partner of Cllr Margaret Swift.

Its a pity Nelso tries to make things personal

Well that only goes to show which side of the political fence the Gazette sits, which doesn't surprise me one little bit.

Nelson, I am a bit concerned that User 4549 is being put off posting on here. Also I have had compaints from other members because of some of your personal comments. So, can you please ensure you show respect to other people that use this forum.

I thought the letters were a fair representation of Dawlish -

One ex-Tory councillor,

one ex- Lib-Dem councillor

Martin Dix who watches all councils quite closely

Someone who wasn't a councillor

and then the Anthonys - an ex-councillor and his wife who is a Labourite and uses whatever opportunity he can to criticise the Tories even if he doesn't mention them in person!!

FAO Webmaster. What other 'personal comments'? Just so as I can re-read them and understand what offence I have caused and to whom. Thank you. As for Martin Dix, he clearly stopped using this forum because he realised that he'd let slip his true identity!!!

When you first appeared you appealed for somebody to do dog walking as you were new to the area, I believe Martin sent you an email with help, you personally thanked him on here, but its become perfectly obvious that you are not new to the area

Nelson, I am not going to reveal names. Also, I do not want to read through your old posts to find them. If you have a look at the ones that mention people in them I'm sure you will get an idea.

Thanks Brazilnut. I did offer him help with regard to dog walking, I guess he thinks it is clever to reveal names, but that is not my concern.

And that is my last ever post, so good luck to all other posters

user4549. i didn't reveal your name!!!! you revealed it on here when you stupidly posted your password on here and someone was bright enough to pick up on it!!!! @webmaster. i'll do as you say and read through my posts and will look for any that relate to people whose on-line persona wasn't already in the public domain. you are suggesting libel, i suggest otherwise.

Nelson, I'm not suggesting libel. Libel is when you write something untrue about someone and it causes damage to their reputation.

I wonder if user4549 will just use another name. Not sure whats going on here webmaster but i too havent posted for a while , the reason being you seem to always side with certain people on here. I get the feeling you post regularly under another name and then dish out warnings , when you dont agree with certain things. Maybe its time for a forum that is truly independant , without agendas.

I do not post on here under another username. People contact me through the 'Contact Us' link and by email, and I try to respond as impartially as I can.

I would be happy to pass the role of webmaster / moderator onto someone else, however at the moment the site is not that easy to manage and I can't separate the forum moderator role from the site administrator. I will discuss it with people on here when I have updated the site later in the year.

If you have any other suggestions or other ideas then please let me know.

Perhaps I could remind you of some comments you made under the 'Why?' discussion below.
