Labour MP Alison Seabeck should deal with real issues, rather than talking about something that we all know won't happen.

Complete waste of time.

Are you saying that sea levels aren't rising?

I'm not saying that sea levels are rising or that sea levels are not rising. I'm saying that it is more likely that the moon is made of cheese, than any tunnel being constructed.

People were saying the same 30 years ago about the chances of there ever being a tunnel between England and France. Just saying......

Really? So that tunnel the Victorians started to build under the Channel is just a figment of our imaginations then? I'm sorry but that is just such a daft statement.

Oh yeah. I forgot lol. How daft of me. They managed to dig a 1,600 yard glorified hole didn't they? A tunnel is only a tunnel if it leads somewhere!! But 110 years later, the channel tunnel did finally came to fruition. In between times though, people were saying it would never happen. Just like James Bond is saying today that a tunnel through Haldon Hills would never happen. Who's daft?

I asked Alison Seabeck MP about it via Twitter, her reply was " @DawlishBlue Not my idea I was merely asked by BBC to comment and in my view it, along with a range of other ideas, should be discussed."
