Some questions for no-one in particular other than for someone who might know the answers: 1.  Who is this "Dawlish Regeneration Group"?  Can anyone join?  How many members of this group are there? What sort of rice?  Medium Grain (bog standard), Long Grain (such as basmati), Short Grain (such as arborio for Risotto), Jasmine (Thai), Brown or Wild? For plain rice, using a rice steamer (e.g. Jamie At Home has a great one in its catalogue), is a verrrrry simple way to make the perfect rice time after time. :-)
