Hi lynne what happened was,we got a call from the school saying they had reports of pupils from DCC tormenting my child on dawlish train station on arrival of the train. This had been reported by other pupils as it was apparently not pleasant to watch. The school was very concerned and stated they wouldnt tolerate any interference of its pupuls travelling to or from school,be it by members of the ...

I removed my child from DCC last year because of the constant bullying, both on the way to and from the school, and a couple of incidents within it. Im not saying the school wouldnt do anything about it,they just seemed to be unable to prevent it.Determined and ruthless bullies are able to soak up any sanctions handed out to them, and its this that is the problem, even excluding them doesnt seem to ...

yeah Don thats true, maybe i could have worded that a bit better,i wasnt knocking the people starting this new venture,i hope they do well, but couldnt help thinking that the bulk of the text in the OP refers to problems that the pc is quite able to sort out itself without the need to pay for someone to do it. I take your good point about cars though, ive paid through the nose a few times only to ...

Nice idea, but apart from the replacement/broken hardware bit,the rest of it can be be done at home for free.1. I think the way they get round that one (please correct me if im wrong) is that the enforcement signs were put up along the strand 5 days prior to the enforcement order taking effect. The initial signs did have the wrong date on but this was corrected Tuesday. I saw two cars getting ticketed in the loading bay outside one stop, but i understand thats a no parking zone (Except goods vehicles) ...

Dawlish Carnival??

Quite right Dawlish man,it is a jewel that we should be proud of,but theres no escaping the fact that the winos in the shelter are a royal pain in the @ss. Constantly thieving from the shops, threatening staff, shouting insults at locals and visitors alike, sitting in that p*ss smelling shelter or on the benches on the sea wall, fighting on the lawns(yesterday). Its not talking down the town, its a ...

Im getting reports from my kids that something horrible has happened round at cory cove, and that a young girl has lost her life, police all over but not saying anything other than a serious incident has taken place. anyone know whats happened?

Warn your kids

Just like to let you know that one of the resident dawlish "winos" was down at teignmouth train statation last Thursday and Friday begging money from the schoolkids returning home to dawlish from TCC. This individual is a recent addition the white cider brigade and is probably well known to the local traders for his efforts in relieving them of their stock. He is a young person of say late teens ...
