I can see no point to it at all, except that it matches the path system on the Brunswick side. Maybe they had money that had to be spent somewhere. Last weekend I went to Andover, Hampshire, just a small town...has a multi storey car park built to link directly into an indoor shopping centre with big name shops like M and S with independants .. I only saw two empty shops and two charity shops. ...
Guess they had money to spend.....I would have left it as it was. Cant see by what they have done makes it any more of a 'must go to' place. As you you've said somwehere B ..it was all too late.
Would that be because Teignmouth has more of a retail trade throughout the year.
Costa had issues with Totnes people...cant see them opening in Dawlish.
There would be no 'fumes from vehicles' had it been pedestrianisted like the majority of people voted for.
Well I have been to Leeds recently and have not been since 1980s..by its mixed residents is now like being in another country!, at least Dawlish is still Dawlish. I stuck the negativity and small minded people of Dawlish for 10 years ..but pleased I moved out two years ago.. it was not easy selling the house. You can see how the small shops are sick of it and new traders choose a different ...
I see there is a £2.60 all devon bus ticket after 7pm on the above link.
Its all gone very quiet on Benefits! .. since Labour have decided to continue the cuts IF the get back in lol ..
