My personal view after many dealings with Dawlish Town Council is that people just do not trust them anymore, a larger Council would that be any better? I can only guess it may make a difference. Good or Bad you wont find out until they are in office.
Two months ago I watched my car being keyed outside Chrissies Florist in the Strand at 12.00 lunchtime, called the Police and was interviewed the next day as was the guy that did it. Told they would check the CCTV infront of the C0-OP as it can scan the whole of the Strand, two weeks later they called to say "Sorry it was not being operated that day" £80,000 for what?
