I use the bus, have never used a Taxi as no need..the bus is houry at night, plenty of places have no buses after 6pm! ..the last bus Teignmouth-Dawlish is at 1135pm ..also from Exeter. Last train Teignmouth-Dawlish is at Midnight 0009.

For me Asda is the best I have my shop delivered.. good prices, nice delivery staff. I am quite surprised really any supermarket would want to open near Dawlish, perhaps they are not aware of the constant negativity, but shopping habits dicatate sales will be from a 12 miles radius, people will always go away from their doorstep. Gather people in Newton go to Torquay etc.

South West Trains from London Waterloo will terminate at Exeter from December 2009. This will allow an hourly service from Exeter - Salisbury - Waterloo, I thought that may be the plan. I don't think there has ever been an hourly timetable on the line.
