Cant believe people still stand and watch footy ..too funny. At least people locked away in front of TVs and in pubs keep towns and roads clearer. Penalties seem fun though, usually watch that bit on big finals, could just do that at the start and go home in 15 mins lol.

Saw him at 6pm Friday evening in the middle of the road outside Ferret and Radiator... was heading away from town.

You know they did teeshirts for just £2 each.. had it been an expensive shop people would not have used it either lol... its all a big mystery!, proof though a shop has to be tourist orintated to succeed.

Business people know that locals travel out, get away, regardless what is here, there is no gain for them to opem in Dawlish. This forum shows the town in a very poor light and does the town no favours at all, certainly does not encourage anyone to open a business.. ask ...

Hit a nerve there didn't I lol. Still agree with what PJ says.. I am still searching for a logical sensible post from In. If you dont like Dawlish go elsewhere.

I agree PJ, its a 'want' society, nobody has standards, kids out on the street late, family breakdowns. Clubs and pubs being open to the early hours with Tesco open all night selling booze. If it was when time was called at 1030-11 and shops closed, all would go home and get up early and go to work!! I know a family where a son aged 24 walks in most nights after clubbing at 4.30am and distrurbs ...

What did you think of Costcutters being open on Christmas Day?

If Dawlish did not have the sea and the holiday trade, The Strand would have little business, it certainly would not survive on local trade alone... Dawlish looks so sad in winter. As I have said before locals will not use the out of town Supermarket as it is a general shopping policy, it will be mainly used by those on holiday or from a wider catchment. Many posted here that they would not go to ...
