The point is why did the transgender person not just inform the nurse in question instead of making a song and dance about it, again this sort of behaviour breeds resentment towards the LGBTQ community.

Simples, if somebody is born with XY chromosomes they are male, and if they have XX chromosomes they are female.

When a person is born with the chromosomes of a male or female then that is what they are.  No amount of surgery or hormones will change that fact.

Corbyn is just stating that she has the right to legal aid, which she does if the legal aid agency decides she has the right. I believe she does, that doesn't mean I think we were wrong to not allow her back into Britain. We should support this whatever you think as we need to have a fair system for everyone.

@majorp there is a difference between gender and sex. A transgender person doesn't just decide they are a different gender suddenly. It is a struggle for years, hopefully with counselling if needed. People accept people being born with a genetic condition without question but someone born knowing they are a different gender than what was assigned during fetal development that is hard for ...
