Dawlish certainly seems to have a habit of testing ones sanity. Perhaps they have some spare beds at Langdons old Butler unit where you could go for a lie down. Got to be at the tax payers expense though, like the rest of them we pay for up there. Now thats a fact thats got you even more wound up now .,
Like the inbuilt Seagull perches, ideal for dive bombing ones chips or ice cream. How long before the charity shops hang thier begging banners up there, bet they already have them on order from vistaprint. Dont forget to turn them off at midnight to save money
Old enough to care about whats important in life and what past generations fought and gave their lives for. Not the childish games played in the name of politics these days. You sound like one of those charity adverts on the telly, going on about starving Africans. Its nothing new it happens every year and like you its becoming boring. Go away and play with the fairy's
@ MT No not one bit, worked hard all my life up north, paid my taxes, saved for the future. Not my problem. Everyone dies eventually even with a Labour goverment. Just remember the party you support caused this country's biggest problem i.e over population of immigrants.
@MT - your right mate we in Dawlish are all wealthy pensioners, some Lib Dem and some Tory we all did OK under Maggie and thats how we come to live a such a lovely part of the country. We have no intrest in your Labour spouting politics, and couldnt care less. So jog on pal

Perhaps local businesses should claim for the amount of time we are spending sat at the traffic lights waiting on a daily basis, bet they would soon clear it up then. As said on another thread why dont DCC clear it away and send them the bill.
The re-painting of the train station deserves a mention its looking pretty good now. Howerver could someone advise why the fallen wall at the bottom of Teignmouth Hill is not being dealt with. Surely the rubble could be removed the remaining wall shored up and the road re-opened. Why do these incidents seem to drag on for ever. Get the council to sort it out and send the bill to whoever owns ...
The answer to this is no longer a goverment issue. The fault lies squarely with the foriegn owned energy companies who took advantage of privatization, formed cartells and have ripped of British consumers ever since. The only way to solve the problem of rising energy costs is to boycott the likes of EDF energy and Eon. Age UK need to negotiate a special pensioner price with a British generating ...
