Some have said that there's an organised witch-hunt against the current Carnival 'committee', orchestrated by former members of it and aided and abetted by the Gazette. Others are saying that the current 'committee' are doing themselves no favours with their words and actions against those who question them? What's the consensus of those amongst us that live locally and those that live afar?
More good coverage in the Gazette again. Well done all. PS don't worry I won't keep posting every week about this subject lol!
There's now a sign at the cashpoint saying that it's currently out of use. The one at the Co-op is working.
All the trees and their lights looked to be in place and switched on, when we walked round town earlier. It all looks very festive!
I don't see the correlation between humans feeding the seagulls, and the seagulls eating duck and swan eggs. Surely if the gulls are being fed, then they won't be hungry and therefore they won't eat duck and swan eggs? Or is that too logical?
I've never considered eating seagull. But there again I'm not a pikey. What does seagull taste like?
Dangerous vermin or god's creatures that were here long before the black swans? What's your opinion?
He's closed his grotto? Oh no!
Oh no! Christmas cancelled! We're looking forward to the Shaldon christmas market tomorrow night and then the Dawlish one on the Strand on Sunday. Is anyone from here going to Sunday's market? Really looking forward to it!
Way to whoosh... Anyway, I wonder what exciting news we have in today's paper? I look forward to reading all about it later.
