A peaceful walk along the beach and bird sanctuary at Dawlish Warren early this morning.
Have to confess that I've been distracted by the cummings and goings of national politics of late so not that familiar with what has been happening locally, politically, and as I no longer buy the Dawlish Gazette (does it still exist? Thought I read somewhere that it has ceased being) I've had no information from that source. So....what has been happening politically, locally, then?
Which is why they have changed their minds about who and what they stand for..........again!!

A man has been jailed after he spat at police and ambulance crews who were called to reports of a woman being attacked. Just happened to be looking up some email addresses for our local councillors and noticed that two (Cllrs Petherick J and Petherick L) are now showing up as Independent rather than Lib Dem which was the ticket they were elected on this time last year. I know no more than that.
Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the tracks at Starcross station near Teignbridge in South Devon around 12.30pm today. An effort to raise money for waterfowl in Dawlish has been set up following the unexplained death of black swan cygnet. Neil Salter, founder of Dawlish Beach Cams, said: "Sadly we do not know how he died as he was missing for over a week and was under a bridge for some time." @1263 Totally agree the whole covid 19 shit is a complete bore. However they will have plenty to moan about this time next year when the true outcome of all this becomes clear. Four million unemployed, unbelievable tax and goods price rises, food shortages, many many businesses shut down, not to mention the thousands that will die as a result of not getting routine surgery or cancer treatment. ...
