Let me sum this up in a few words, thousands of homes with little if any infrastructure. All the goodies for Newton Abbot and Exeter, in my opinion.

A completely indifferent and and under achieving group of councillors representing Dawlish, which is a political satellite of teignmouth
Ramble along the seaside walkway which was the setting for the film "The great wall" bound
to be a challenge as a tourist attraction not only in its own right but a defence against these pesky continential invaders.
Shop to your hearts content a a lovely selection of charity shops where you can be overcharged for items that they got for free.
Browse the farmers market where its' not only the sheep being fleeced...
