I've just been reading a thread on Eyes of Dawlish concerning this Local Plan review. Quite understandably there are comments expressing concern about Grade 1 agricultural land being developed for housing and how this shouldn't be allowed to happen because this country should be more self sufficient with regard to food, and how it doesn't augur well for the future of the British farming ...

@ teignpot Your comment has a fatal flaw, in that why should we all "proud" that they are descendents of immigrants, they are just people same as us - no one goes around saying I am proud of descendants of immigrants we just get on with life. I take it your using the royal "we " as you believe all are pround when in fact there are minorities that definately would not take that same opinion.
Nearly all the England players are descendants of immigrants. Something we should all be very proud of.

This weekend we will be showing the Wimbledon Finals on the Lawn Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - so bring your chair, umbrella and picnic as it looks showers at times.
