There are two candidates for the town council standing for election representing the new Dawlish T,mouth Road ward. One of them, Martin Heath, is standing as an Independent. Is this the same Martin Heath who has previously stood as a UKIP candidate in previous elections?

I really do not know now. I have voted Conservative in the past, but might have considered voting Labour now if Jeremy Corbyn was not the leader. I remember the middle to late 1970s so I can not put my cross to his party. Almost three years ago Nigel Farage said that if the result of the referendum was 52/48 to Remain then the closeness of the result would be ‘unfinished business’ and that pressure for a second referendum would grow. Just to give you an update. Today 26th March, there was a serious accident between jnc 30 and jnc 31 M5. Because of the outdaed road system around Exeter and beyond, traffic was virtually at a stand still on all roads. Driving past the golf course down to Teignmouth on Saturday, I passed two individual cyclists 50m apart. It would have been much easier to pass them if they had been riding two abreast (just the one overtake to make then).
