We've got some very exciting news for Dawlish... Councillors voted unanimously to approve the complete refurbishment and extension of the Manor Gardens Play Park, funded partly by Teignbridge District Council , with the majority of funds coming from the Town Council. All being well, it should be open in the new year. We can't wait! Why not watch the video and have a sneak peak? ...
Resolved that the item be deferred to the next meeting of the Planning Committee to enable further information being received, due shortly.
TEIGNBRIDGE District Council’s finances have been boosted by better-than-expected income from recycling. Councillor Gary Taylor (Lib Dem, Dawlish SW) echoed his colleague’s comments, saying: ‘The more we recycle, the more raw materials are going back into the supply chain, which drives down costs overall in the end.’ Read more... ...
You'd be forgiven for thinking that nothing much happens in Probus. Once upon a time it was on the main road to Truro but since being bypassed over 20 years ago, it's stuck out on a limb in the hinterland between Cornwall's capital and St Austell.
