THIEVES have helped themselves to donations made to Dawlish pet foodbank. Several boxes of food destined for pets in need in the town went missing from a donation drop off box intended to go to the charity Dawlish Pet Pantry.

Roger Honey said his mother was postmaster before he took on the title. Roger Honey, 81, has been running the Exeter Road Post Office in Dawlish since October 1962, but took on the postmaster title in January 1975.

A LENGTHY battle to save a crumbling historic Dawlish property has taken a major step forward. The Old Vicarage in Weech Road has been in a ruined state for many years but now the Grade II listed structure has been bought by a developer.

Presumably anyone can refuse on the grounds they have a right to a family life in the UK?

IT WAS a scheduled cup week in the South Devon and Torbay Table Tennis League, but with several cup matches unable to take place, there were only a handful of matches played this week. The two handicap doubles matches that survived were both Newton Abbot TTC v Dawlish TTC.
