The Annual Meeting of the Parish will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 13 April 2022 at the Manor House, Old Town Street, Dawlish. Any local government electors wishing to discuss matters relating to the parish should put this in writing to the Town Clerk no later than 12 noon on Monday, 4 April 2022.
@carer I haven't worn a mask since July, and not even had a hint of a sniffle since then. I will never wear a mask again, no matter what the government mandates.
Surgeons and theatre staff wear masks to prevent respiratory droplets contaminating the surgical area, nothing at all to do with preventing viral transmission. By the way, the eyes are also an entry point for viruses to enter the body, perhaps the neurotic mask wearers should wear goggles when they go shopping?
Maybe burnside would be happy if he ever needs a major operation for the surgeons and theatre staff not to wear masks.

The whole thing is another DCC mess up, when the cycle path was put in along the A379 that stopped there being enough space for traffic lights at the junction of Elm Grove Road and the A379. I have always thought that in this day and age of computers that a set of three way lights with pedestrian option for all traffic at stop in all directions could be put in.
