Passengers on the main railway line into Devon and Cornwall were delayed yesterday after a landslip on a notorious section of the line near Dawlish . Network Rail said a landslip at Dawlish was affecting passengers on the line between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot.

Thought that the work to pin the cliffs would have started at the most notorious section of the cliffs first ? or is common sense alien to network rail? How long have they been working on this feels like years...
