The individuals committing burglary within our community recently all three suspects were arrested on the same night, this is thanks to an incredible response by Police response officers, traffic officers, and the Police Helicopter working to keep our community safe.

I have no idea whether any money was ever paid out to the owner of Seaway by TDC. Perhaps a Freedom of Information Request submitted by someone might elicit some information? The only road I have mentioned on this thread is Warren Road. Are you referring to the unmade road/farm track that used to connect Week Lane to Warren Road? That was open when I first moved here but got closed off some ...

Lynne you would need to look at the accounts for each of the years following to find if a payment was made, as to the road I believe this was a farm track and not a public road.

If that is the case (can you give a link please) then surely they are being a good employer in looking after their staffs' pensions? The common denominator seems to be the amount of money. What is hugely different is the reason why it was/was not paid out. To return to the original subject of this thread. Yes but TDC did find 3 million extra to pay into the staff pension fund again last year and they keep saying they haven't got enough coming in.

This all happened in the early 2000s just before I moved here but it wasn't that long before I became aware of it. For some reason it came back into my mind recently. I wonder if the two parties concerned have, as it were, kissed and made up, or whether there is still no love lost between the two? The field in question was closed for holiday maker use for some years after I moved here but ...
