Totally agree with you wondering.
Badly needs doing, has become a real eyesore.
Have to agree June or July would have been a better time. A chance to bring in more people whilst the area is quieter. Maybe a one day event to start off with would be better, and then expanded over the future years if it was a success.
Doesnt suprise me , the line up was shocking. Id have been suprised if they'd sold more than a couple of hundred tickets at most.
Some on here love to hijack threads for a moan, what i dont get is why they dont move as they hate it here. Perhaps they could go to teignmouth because they dont have wino's. or crime ! As tesco are already in the town , perhaps they could donate towards the carnival.
they prefer knitting
Im looking for snatch lol
The one thing that i regularly hear from visitors, is the state of the walkway under the station platform. Its stinks due to the crap from the pigeons, there are holes galore in the wood panels allowing them to nest.
I think the shop has improved enormously. stopped going at one point, now visit regularly
Good call Mark Paul Young , one for the ladies. I hope the festival is a success and becomes an annual event. problem is they have made an appalling choice of acts for the 1st event
