Try Ashcombe road there are 15 or 20 hedgeslips have phoned highways four times as yet no responce have had to clear some myself so we can get in and out and there is more rain to come.

A further point is that only nine percent of land in the UK is built on and the goverment want to increase that figure to thirteen percent  very tempting for farmers who are loosing money

Maybe if we where prepaired to pay higher prices for our food farmers would not sell land for houses if it was profitable for food production.

Shoot it nice in a pie

When the Police controled parking Sundays where always free its now all about money but if we all parked legally so no tickets where ever issued i wonder how long it would be before the wardens dissapeared

When the lane was open to motor vehicles it was often flooded and i have had to reverse out many times as it was to deep to get through its always been a problem it may be the drain is full of leaves etc

I have looked at this problem and there is no way to stop this the spores are airborn so really it is just a matter of time before all Ash trees are affected.  Reading a recent article from leading experts in Europe it may be possible to engineer our way out of the problem genetically, so it is possible in the future that many of our trees that are dying back Oak, Elm, Chestnut can be replaced.

What a great idea Lynne I could see special trains stopping at Dawlish being met by Brunel with a guided tour on the way to the BVC could be a winner.
