I have looked at this problem and there is no way to stop this the spores are airborn so really it is just a matter of time before all Ash trees are affected. Reading a recent article from leading experts in Europe it may be possible to engineer our way out of the problem genetically, so it is possible in the future that many of our trees that are dying back Oak, Elm, Chestnut can be replaced.
