A GROUP of staff from Dawlish Community Hospital will be taking part in a sponsored walk in memory of a colleague’s late husband. The hospital team is raising money for the RNLI after the death of crew member Andy Burry who died this summer from heart disease.

MAYOR of Dawlish Cllr Lin Goodman-Bradbury was handed a £500 cheque as a donation to one of her charities by one of the town’s housing developers. Cllr Goodman-Bradbury was given the cash by Taylor Wimpey which is building 180 homes at its Brook Vale development.

POPPY wreaths from Teignmouth and Dawlish were taken to London for Remembrance Day thanks to the annual service from Great Weather Railway. The Poppies to Paddington early morning service stopped at stations along the route early on November 11, taking commemorative wreaths to the war memorial at Paddington Station.
