It might have surived the not so famous storm but I don't see how it is historic for sure?!

Sorry if I'm wrong, but Mr Dale and other contractors are always parked on the pavements along Exeter Road, it's completely unacceptable.

This is just a quick update. There are many issues that I have been dealing with that involves DCC and TDC. I think TDC is finished with, as they are going to remove the need for motorists to have to punch in their VRN, which makes it easier to transfer an unexpired off street pay and display ticket. What do you mean by “what was actually being formulated”? The plans are open for all to see, and either be in favour of or against.

One of my other good experiences I have had with the Barton Surgery. I was waiting in the queue on one occasion (maybe a couple of years ago) when the lady in front of me was complaining about the cost of ringing the surgery to make an appointment. I didn't know there was a cost. When I got into see my doctor, after he had dealt with the problem I had, he asked me if there was anything else ...

This swan was sitting there quite happily yesterday and to be found dead the next day seems a little suspicious to me.

@majorp - i beleive that the highways authorities define a footpath obstruction to be one that does not allow a pram/wheelchair through, not that they would most probably bother acting on a complaint anyway. The council's winge on about lack of revenue, but if they just enforced parking reg's around the area they would make a fortune.
