It was Facebook that was blamed for harming kids in the first place. So now adults are expected to give up their privacy and risk getting their identities stolen because the government is lazy and stupid. Kids are tech savvy and will know how to circumvent the rules. Most adults are too. It's the politicians that are clueless.
It's an ill-thought out and unenforceable act that will actually make the internet less safe. And Ofcom is dreaming if it thinks it can violate the rights of US corporations and citizens. Trump didn't seem fully aware of what is going on. Once he is aware, I don't think he'll let this stand.

Agree, the diverted traffic signs just sent you around in circles. You had to ignore them to get access to the back roads where traffic should have been diverted to. Visitors must have been totally confused and annoyed.

The 2008 financial crisis was caused by governments, in particular the US government under George Bush, not by commodities traders. It's called moral hazard. You can look it up. In the UK we had "No more boom and bust" under Labour as they deliberately stoked a housing boom. It started when the US government decided to use taxpayer's money to back subprime mortgages.

There is very little real racism in the UK yet left-wingers go on about it constantly. Anyone that doesn't agree with left-wing nonsense is a racist today. Reform are popular because the Tories failed the country and Labour are failing even more.
