Congratulations to the uniparty.

Well done to the opposition on making great gains.

The Lib Dem brown nosing-paper that calls itself the Mid Devon Advertiser conveniently neglects to mention that there was a District Council by-election in Teignmouth West.

The position was won by the Liberal Democrats in 2019 and 2023 but the Councillor quit the party, became an Independent and then left the Council entirely triggering a by-election.

This was not reported at the time and kept quite. The Lib Dems don't want people to know that they lose Councillors or that there own Councillors often take issue with the local party led by control freak Wriggly Martin.

The Lib Dems did not win in Teignmouth West.

A Reform candidate called Steve Horner who refers to himself as a 'Defiant Englishman' won this election and is now elected District Councillor.

He beat the Lib Dem by 28 votes,

Turn-out was just over 29% which is awful.
