I've just been to Dawlish Sainsbury's, they have installed barriers to stop you getting out. To get out now you have to go through the checkout or self checkout. There is also a exit gate to let you out if you don't go through the checkouts. 

I bought a sandwich, paid for it at the cigarette counter. I tried to exit through the small exit gate but it didn't let and an alarm went off. I asked how to get out and the staff member said through the exit gate. I said it won't let people out, I've just ried it. The staff member was shouting and rude, so in the end I just pushed through the no exit gate.

Who the hell do Sainsbury's think they are? What right have they got to imprison people?

The place has constantly gone down hill. 

No one on the normal checkouts. 

You have to ask for a carrier. 

Now you are imprisoned in their building.

The new layout is a scam to remove the cheap products from their shelves.

This is just another example of the big businesses treating the small person like garbage. Total disrespect for loyal customers. Shame that a good shop has gone down the pan.

Best to use Morrisons. It's a bit further to go but it hasn't turned into a dystopian hellhole at least yet.
