Around £1,000 worth of damage was done to nine beach huts in Dawlish when they were broken into at the weekend. The huts at Coryton's Cove were targeted sometime between 6pm on Saturday, October 26, and 8am the next day. Police in Devon have arrested a 35-year-old man who was wanted for recall to prison. Damian Pearce, from Dawlish, was arrested in in Exeter yesterday, Thursday, October 17, for a motoring offence. He attended Exeter Magistrates Court this morning charged with motoring offences, possession of a Class A drug and recall to prison.
