It would be great if we would get a shiny new football pitch in the same location but nobody's got the money for that apart from Tesco. We want the best facilities for our youth and this is our chance.

Concerned- Support the supermarket and Tesco will build you a nice new football ground on Warren road. Oppose the supermarket and go without because without Tesco's investment nothing will happen to the football ground. It would be great if Tesco will pay for a new stadium at Sandy Lane & build a supermaket at shutterton, but that just wont happen.

Yes Dawlish does need a Tesco, i think the main volume of traffic will be between the football club and Exeter Road. I dont think the housing estate nearby wil see much of an increase. Also Tesco plan to insatall a mini roundabout by the football club and traffic lights on the Sandy Lane/Exeter Road junction which will ease congestion.

I think some people are missing the point here. Nobody's taking the playing fields away, just the football pitch.

Im sick of all this botcott Tesco rubbish. It's a good invesment for the town, all we loose is a shabby old football pitch which is to be replced by a new one anyway.
