I see that the play park has been given the initial first rubber stamp. Not surprised, the questionaire was loaded towards having the park on The Lawn. Not one question asked ....do you want a play park on The Lawn? Another waste of money to duplicate a facility that already exists in the local area. Although no money for essential services, I know, that comes out of another purse, but ...

@ZIGGY - the only problem with notice's that tell people not to do something, is that those it is aimed at do not acknowledged them. feet on the street is the only sure way to enforce these issues do not go unpunished although there is little chance of that happening.

Interesting thread from 2011 same old problems with the minority of ignorant cyclists.

@Carer - i don't think 'decency' comes into it. they're just saving themselves a certain amount of grief from all the people who will end up tramping the stuff in their houses and onto their carpets, etc. although i hear what you are saying.

Have just had a leaflet put in my letter box. It is from SWH who are going to carry out, what they call, footway slurry seal. In essence placing a thin skin of asphalt sealant over the crumbling foot path and driveway access. It reminds of the firm that did the same style of thing to Badlake Hill's road surface.
