Many of the issues the U.K. has with the E.U. policy makers is quite simple. The British Government, what ever puppets are sitting in the houses, have never embodied the true spirit of the E.U. They pick and choose what they wish to accept and begrdudginly fight over other parts the E.U. imposes by mandate. Either we embody the E.U. as a whole or we leave. @Paul , i would not hold your breath. the victorians were the last ones to do any serious infrastructure work to dawlish. these days. those in power, only have one philosphy and that is to rip as much money of hard working tax payers and spend it on themselves and numerous white elephants. the days of long term forward planning are non existent.

I got all my benefits paid before the xmas holiday, yipee. New 50 inch for the master bedroom and an Xbox 1 for the dog. Who says xmas is crap, love the Government.
If someone had told me that an unwanted housing expansion in Dawlish would mean a Mc Donalds in Dawlish. I would have been all for it from the start. Developer's get building.
