So where are the people living in Dawlish? ..its them not visitors the origianl post refers to. Things must be tough I see the Lansdown where towns money seems to go, has a food sign in the road 3 ft off the kerb! If they stopped the football and made it a 'pleasant pub' they may get more money on food, but guess place suits Dawlish standards.
Given there has been no response or detail to the first meeting and no mention in the newspaper this week, must be a spoof!
What are the highlight plans?

Good luck to anyone but the post did say Videos I thought they had had their day! I would not through money to Business rates and rents in this age where everything is availabe online. Just my view.
An idea yes but remember this is Dawlish! ..wouldnt think you could make a living from videos unless you mean DVD, rents are high and people can buy new online watch and then can resell the DVD on Ebay, new release films seem to be on TV quickly.
Agree about the Strand but cant see them doing it they so love their cars, it should be just for disabled and delivery use. As I see it cars spoil towns. It is why Teignmouth has the edge, as you say people can sit around in the open. Traffic could be reversed in the High Street to allow no traffic in the Strand. Yes that Bridge!
Anyone can stand for election.. but the youngsters cant take the strain and too busy watching footy down the pub lol.
Yes.. you would have thought so. I can't see the pub does anything for the image of Dawlish.
