1.7 million pounds wasted on constructing a footpath that without shops and parking will never be used, sounds about right for our three levels of council planning. Just had a look around and cannot see which if any of the three schemes proposed is actually being carried out. It looks like they are just constructing a new footpath on the lawn side. Which is just wasting the money and isent going to address the parking issues or going to attract any new business. What happened to the herringbow parking scheme which was voted in favor of.

Its a good idea, its getting people to remember to post when they spot a good price. Maybe the webmaster could make the post into an updateable listing under the Services heading probably. Im sure the fuel stations on the list will soon let us know if the posted price is wrong. As above though its important to list their fuel brand as well as price where posible.
@SA Would it be fair to say that the main reason some of the better known charity shops employ a paid manager, is to filter out the valuable items donated locally and put them aside for transfere to the more profitable shops in better areas. I say this as I overheard this type of conversation taking place in the back room of a shop in Teignmouth not so long ago. I think it true to comment ...
@Carer . We have had this issue many times on here and sadly if you research the subject in depth there are other factors to consider when buying fuel other than price. The supermarket fuel as you would expect is the lowest quality they can get away with when it comes to the Octane rating, its a bit like your pub landlord watering down the spirits only they do it with what they claim to be ...
Has anyone tried the new Warren chippy thats been open a week now. Its on the corner of the station road by the amusement arcade. Its worth a visit good and flexible menu, prices seem competetive. Tried the fish and chips last night. Fish excellent, chips room for improvement but certainly better than other local offerings. Give it a go chaps
