@JD2017 -you are incorrect in your statement that placing no against the questrions would mean that you did not want a play park on the lawn. it merely stated that you did not want it in the specified locations on the lawn. again, as i seem to be repeating myself for some reason...the questionaire did not ask the most specific question that was...do you want a play park on 'the lawn'? In my ...
@leatash ... not based on a questionnaire that only asked where on the lawn and not, do you want a play park on the lawn? It is not Dawlish councils right to put out a questionnaire that does not allow the people of Dawlish a fair and balanced set of questions for the issue of this play park.
@leatash - you seem to be missing the point that not one question asked if anyone wanted a play park on the lawn. I am in favour of true democracy, but the basis for this play park is on a one sided set of questions that did not let those who took part answer that they did NOT want it. I and several others who DID take part catagorically put in the comments section of several questions ...
Anyone know how to intiate a parish poll. If the only way to put a stop to the nonsense of the play park on the Lawn is to start this process I would like to know what is involved and how it can be initiated. It certainly worked on the issue of the Manor House !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have checked on the internet and am no wiser. ...
I see no valid reason why the town council should even be discussing funding for this play park until the residents of Dawlish can say yes/no to this. The survey was a sham and not one question asked if it was even wanted on The Lawn, just WHERE on The Lawn. Those who stated that it was NOT wanted on The Lawn could only put their feelings in the comments section of the one sided questions. ...
Interesting read from 2013 about Germany and the e.u. http://www.ditchley.co.uk/conferences/past-programme/2010-2019/2013/germanys-role-in-the-eu1
I think the statement 'will increase trade for the town centre businesses' has been a little over used in Dawlish this last year or 2. Over a million spent on a dirty stained NEW pavement to replace the old concrete slabs, but now look dirtier than the origninal slabs.....and more business due to the new layout of the high street, ...I think not.... oh!, definetly less parking on the high street. ...
Something is needed.
One thing you cannot deny about Trump is that he is doing what he said he would do If Elected...right/wrong his doing it. More than can be said about the buch of back stabbing vipers that we have in all levels of power in this country.
Interesting looking through the Teignbridge car park sites as to charges and locations:- https://sites.teignbridge.gov.uk/carparkmap
