@friendlyuser Perhaps therein lies the argument for why the land should be given some kind of permanent protection so that it cannot be developed now or in the future.

but.....the Tories are now in overall control. Dawlish Central & North East Ward (3 seats) returned Ted Hockin and Graham Price. Geoff Wills was not elected (came 5th I think).
