From my experience a lot of Rotarians/Roundtablers are only interested in things that bring them personal benefit. Which they hide by wrapping it up in fake altruism.
I agree with what you say.....many, many people are genuine in their charitable goodness. My bone of contention is the so called 'admin' that Roundtable/Rotary 'cream off' whilst conducting their altruism. That's a lot of money not going where it was intended to go.
