A group of Sidmouth teenagers are well on their way to establishing a Youth Centre in their town. No 'behind the scenes' deals. No Drug Centre. No Alcoholic Centre. Just people who are working hard to ensure that the youth of their town are fully catered for with no hidden agenda.
On the other hand, Dawlish Town Council's emphasis on youth amounts to background deals with Teignbridge District Council to push through a Youth Centre that is more concerned with alcoholics and drug addicts, than the local youth it was intended for.
Now we learn that this Youth Cente has been allocated a bar in the ever-changing plans.
Is this mish-mash of a project truly aimed at improving the lives of our youth? Or is it the result of inept councillors grabbing whatever straws they can after their disgusting mismanagement of the Leonard Lamb legacy?
