Guess the rent!!!

It's because people are less tolerant Lynne, or that's one of the reasons.  We have a big area of grass at the bottom of our road and one old man takes issue with the children playing there, shouting at them.  What are you supposed to do, have a stand up row with the local misery guts? Down the road there's another bit of green with a big tree in the middle.  The tree has been fence off ...

(Received in post today from Richard Younger-Ross, Martin Wrigley and Gary Taylor - 'Team Dawlish') From June next year your green wheelie bin will only be emptied if you pay £35 a year to have your garden waste collected - there will be another smaller bin for food waste. What is employment classed as? Part time short term contracts?  How are you expecting to live on that?  Bottom dropped out of the market you work in?  I know go back to education and reskill ... hahahaha. As an aside, I see today that sadly David Force has had to close his Teignmouth branch of Force and Sons.  I do hope the 3 people made redundant are able to find jobs.

beautiful day today @ZIGGY .  lucky we weren't in the south east today by the sounds of it!  not wishing to spoil it i did report the apparent sewerage leak at junction of exeter rd/henty rd to sww earlier today and they said they'd look into it.  is it my imagination or is the sewerage system in dawlish buckling under the strain?

I think "slagging off" is a little strong andysport. Trying to take a relative with dementia to Exeter hospital was quite a challenge.  Dilemma - do I abandon the car and risk a ticket or abandon the relative and risk them getting lost/upset.  Getting a hospital car can also be difficult as they only run between certain periods of time so if you have a late appointment (not usually a choice) ...
