Argos would be a great idea. At the moment anyone who needs to buy electrical goods has the choice of one shop. The result of that is they go elsewhere. Then one thing i was very dissappointed with was the farmers market. What a load of crap. Some fudge, a foreign food stall, turkeys and a clothes stall. Went to teignmouth boxing day to watch the swim. I couldnt believe how many shops and cafes were closed.Even the pier was shut. Thousands of people in the Town, yet nothing open. Then went to shaldon for the three legged fancy dress race. What a difference , all shops cafes and pubs open and heaving.What a bonus for the town buisnesses, to keep them ticking over in the winter months. Pubs and ...

Everywhere they open up, they seem to kill the surrounding local shops and town centres. then they put the prices up due to lack of competition.

Dawlish is a fantastic town. We should be proud of it. Yes it has its faults but they are minor compared to elsewhere. The people are friendly and welcoming to new comers. It has a beautiful town centre , with the river running through itand great caricture. One thing that is annoying though and it is only minor, those pesky pigeons on the front under the platform. As a local footy fan who has visited the ground a few times, i have to say that reaching the 4th round is a great achievement. I have heard that Gresley will be bringing at least 100 fans with them from the Midlands. A number of them will be staying for the weekend, or arriving early on the day.
