Drove past the box at the top end of Newlands yesterday and not surprised that BT want to remove it. Not one piece of glass in it and if a defribulator was put in there, how long would that last?
@tom You dont see disabillity scooters racing along and dodging people who are walking along the sea wall Let's not forget that there is a lovely new (unused) cycle path from the warren into Dawlish now, so the cyclists can use that.

Hi all. Just wondering why the Membership thread asks you to confirm your email address before you can 'post' anything? Is it a scam?

@monty If you are referring to the online version, they keep it brief so you have to spend the money to either read the full story online or buy the paper. Simple.
You got to feel sorry for them. Honest hard working people persecuted wherever they go. Just think of all the drives they could have tarmacked and rooves they could have repaired, all good quality work as well.
At least they had the decency to inform the residents beforehand. If they hadn't, then you would have had something to moan about.
