@Lynne , there should be nothing stopping you from posting on ram65's thread.
It was mainly to avoid trolling and to avoid having red disagrees over all posts which you sometimes see on other sites, but I'll look into it on the next update.
@elvis presley , I wouldn't go quite that far. We often get spam and advertising posts which I remove. In the early days we had separate forums for politics and other topics but 99% of the time people still posted in the general discussion area.
@Lynne , I tend to agree with Clive.
@flo , I didn't think so, but others have been reporting similar odd behavior. I will look into it.
@michaelclayson , I will have a think about this. We used to have separate forum sections for politics, the council and holiday information, but people still posted everything in the general section.

@Lynne , Please feel free to debate any subject. I didn't remove Paul's thread because of the subject matter, but because of Paul's comments. It would be the same, for example, if you had posted the links you have with racist comments, but you haven't.
@FredBassett , I agree with free speech and rarely remove comments. I didn't remove the thread because of the news article. I believe that paul's comments were offensive and hateful towards a particular group of people and hence in breach of the terms of the forum. The thread could be reinstated but I think I am right. I am happy to consider people's objections. I don't want to be unfair or ...
