Can anyone tell me what happened to this pub? It no longer appears to be one? Many a holiday evening was spent there discussing the world with local stalwart Trevor. Where does he acquire his Whitbread tipple now I wonder?
Well, we have just returned after a week spent at the Dawlish Welcome park. So here's a brief upto date summary for others thinking of going there based on our holiday: Location is the best. Very close to the beach and its facilities and close by for some lovely meals at the Mount Pleasant Inn. Just a point regarding taxi drivers. They are not allowed to block a road for upto 20 minutes in the line of business. By law they have no more right than any other vehicle. May I first apologise for being a grockle! Could anyone please advise me on the best park to stay on in dawlish please? We are a couple with a young child. I have stayed in dawlish many times but usually in the B&Bs. Now we need somewhere with facilities to entertain our offspring. Thanks in advance

i didnt realise you had a lot of foreigners in dawlish? i am from oxford and we are overrun by the polish and east europeans who are buying up everywhere
We are looking into buying a bed and breakfast establishment in the dawlish area. Do many come up for sale and would others recommend it?
