Agreed I think there's a push for the park which I'd rather there wasn't as we already have one in Manor Park/gardens, but if there has to be one then outside the tourist and toilets area would be best of a bad job. Also I would tend to support dogs on leads in the lawn area, it isn't really that sort of area for having dogs bounding about at will, there are other areas for that and Manor ...
What a lovely day on the lawn today with the colourful vehicle gathering and the great music from the group on the bandstand. Thanks to all those who brought their vehicles to Dawlish for our enjoyment and packed the lawns out. Let's hope there will be room on the lawns for repeat performances for years to come!

Exactly Plod, there should be an annual limit to the number of FOI requests an individual can have or there should be a small admin charge (I guess that wouldn't be allowed under a TRO or other some such!). I can't believe how truly irresponsible and inappropriate the action leatash takes, do they really think causing such stress to a cashier is going to make a situation change overnight. Do something to affect the ones responsible not take it out on someone at the very end of the chain minding their own business and just trying to make an honest days living. Yes me too Diana, at the risk of talking in riddles myself, I'm of the belief to put up or shut up, say it as it is or not at all! Otherwise after a while it all gets too tedious and loses any impact, interest or support it may otherwise have had

Just to slightly correct, albeit a small rise, alot of public sector workers have been having rises over the last few years, not been on a wage freeze since 2010.
If you look at Dawlish Waterfowl on Facebook it does give a short update, yes she died but it doesn't mention how, but it does say that they are continuing the incubation
