Hi Anon, i think they should be called Gut Busters or Belly Busters! We were totally stuffed after our kebabs.... maybe they should have the Great GutBuster Challenge, think of all the practicing we could do....yum yum.
I totally agree, some people will always find other peoples success hard to swallow in Dawlish. I would like to add that the Kebabs are to die for, plenty of meat, salad and sauces, all wrapped in a naan bread, absolutely the best....keep it up guys!!
So, i take it you wont be doing your weekly shop, and saving money there when it opens then Lily!
Parking in the strand.....theres a story, just imagine if the strand was closed to parking, where would all these people who have to take up 2 parking spaces with one small car be able to park!!!!! I think everyone who takes up 2 spaces when they park should have to pay for 2 tickets, maybe then they would think about how they park if they have to pay per space!!!!!
The thing is, at the end of the day, wherever any supermarket, not just Tescos would be situated, there is always going to be somebody, usually the same people, trying to oppose it! and put obstacles in its way when and where it suits them.
Can i take a wild guess that the majority of people opposing Tescos are people that are on their own or can afford to shop locally and expensively!!! and have nothing better to occupy their minds other than try to tell us what they think we all want! The younger generation and their families are going to be the future of dawlish and many families are like myself with a few children, work jolly ...
Boycott Tescos Lilly......why on earth would we want to do that?? Grow up and use what little brain you have to make a real difference to Dawlish!
Sorry to dissapoint you, but i went along to the Langstone and voted YES, YES,YES for a Tesco. It doesnt matter where its situated in Dawlish it wouldnt satisfy certain residents!!!I have children and none of them ever play there. The only time i see people use it is to cut across or to walk their dogs, so that if and when children want to play on the land there is usually loads of dog mess on it. ...
We also went along to the Christmas Market, hoping to buy a few pressies and get a little christmas spirit. I know the weather could have been a little better, but as far as the stalls were concerned, there was nothing really to write home about and nothing there to make me want to go again next year!!There was not an awful lot of christmas spirit and atmosphere either. I know a lot of people ...
