WENT IN STOKES THE OTHER DAY. EVERYTHING WAS FOREIGN. THE STRAWBERRIES WERE FROM HOLLAND AND BELGUIM. VINE TOMATOES=SENEGAL GRAPES=INDIA (SURELY THEIR ARE NEARER PLACES) CARROTS=HOLLAND POTATOES=EGYPT I ONLY FOUND ONE BRITISH ITEM AND ONE IRISH. MAYBE A SHOP SELLING MORE LOCALLY GROWN PRODUCE WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. UNTIL STOKES SELL SOME BRITISH PRODUCE , I WONT BE GOING BACK

See they want to build right near houses again. What IS this thing they have about building near homes? Well, would YOU want a supermarket with all the cars and lorries right near you? Thought not. So why should other people? Tell 'em where to stuff it.

Good for you Mouse, there's less than 3 years to go until the whole council is up for re-election so you will hopefully have time to find a good babysitter!! Hope all goes well with the baby and you're absolutely right - both your welfare comes first.

Mouse if you want to stand you go for it, being pregnant won't stand in your way nor would your age, Tom Scobie who has just left is 25. Provided you could attend the meetings you could be a councillor, younger voices are needed to be heard. Dave - just to point out that Mr Bush is no longer a councillor he lost his seat last year. The deputy mayor is not Cllr Price so he probably won't be mayor ...

What does everyone think of the new surf shop on Brunswick Place called Moose? I only realised it was there a few weeks ago and bought a pair of Reef sandals and Quiksilver sunglasses today. It's great to not have to go to Exeter or Teignmouth. Also, as I spent over fifty quid I got a free Moose t-shirt. Hi Phil Dawlish is a great place low crime good schools lots going on in the summer and most people are friendly. Of course you get your moaners and groaners as you do anywhere. The reason folk complain about house prices is that wages round here are out of proportion to housing cost and utility bills are expensive.Dont let that put you off you will gain a good quality of life Lets face it ...
