I was told yesterday that the black swans had been attacked by a bunch of yobs and that one was now limping, if true, what happened to the CCTV? I can answer that because the police tell me that they are hardly monitored. £80.000 + wasted by Town Council.

Pity the swans did not turn on them, some can be really strong. I can imagine if they did people would want them removed. Leave the Swans alone Yobs .. they should take up Boxing, if bold enough!

Was there an eye witness if so they may still be able to get the culprits.
The camera's are a complete waste of money it doesnt stop at the cost of installing them, the monitors in their ivory towers have to be paid.

Was there eye witnesses to this 'attack' if yes why wasnt the 'yobs' stopped and the police called.

Resident, Somebody surely witnessed it but could be concerned about revenge attacks, my point also is was it in CCTV range?
