Dont expect Teignbridge council to do anything, just spent northwards of £80k doing up the manor. All these councillors talk about how lucky we are to live in dawlish but when it comes to keeping the upkeep of dawlish e.g dredging the brook , replacing the bridge in the park they are not intrested, too busy playing party political games at council meetings and always saying they have no money.

The report has been on the lunchtime bulletin. They are definitely not going to dredge the brook, but look at ways the appearance can be improved, so just a cosmetic job. The councillors are all guilty of neglect, if they had done their job properly over the last 10 years then the brook wouldn't be in the dreadful state we see today.
