A Thai Pork Pie made by Dawlish catering company the Shepherd Shack has been named as Devon’s ‘New Food Product of the Year’ at this week’s Food Drink Devon Awards. DAWLISH Warren is to host a mass gathering of schnauzer dogs. For the seventh year, the Dawlish Warren Schnauzerfest Group will be meeting up on October 20. A MAN was arrested on the Lawn in Dawlish last night following an altercation. Police were called to the town centre following reports of a disturbance at about 6.45pm. Such a shame. But seagulls are an endangered species. You don't see many of them around, inland, on farms when the farmer is ploughing, or on landfill sites.

HIGH winds and driving rain caused havoc to Teignbridge yesterday with train services suspended, trees blocking roads and yachts breaking moorings. Was this the banger racing up in a field up Port Road, if it was, it was absolutely brilliant! I wish that another event like this could take place, I reckon it'd bring the spectators in, that's if Health and Safety would allow it!
